About Seek New Knowledge
Seek New Knowledge, Instant, designed by Dave Greco first released in June 2022 in the set Alchemy Horizons: Baldur's Gate.
This card, Seek New Knowledge, would benefit a control or combo deck that aims to dig for specific nonland cards while also filtering through its hand. However, in a competitive Magic: the Gathering environment, there are more efficient cards like Serum Visions or Opt that offer similar card selection at a lower cost and without the drawback of putting a card from your hand on the bottom of your library. Therefore, Seek New Knowledge may not see much play in highly optimized decks but could be a fun and flavorful addition to more casual or thematic decks.
