This card would be beneficial in a midrange or ramp deck that focuses on generating value through creature tokens and graveyard recursion. While Shadowbeast Sighting offers a decent 4/4 creature token for its cost, there are potentially better options like Greenwarden of Murasa, which provides a stronger body and recursion effect for a slightly higher cost.
