**Super Speed** fits best in aggressive red decks—especially go-wide or low-curve aggro builds in Limited or very budget Constructed formats—where granting haste and a small power boost can push extra damage, and the flash plus temporary first strike can occasionally win combat as a trick. However, Auras that only give +1/+0 are generally weak because they risk card disadvantage if the creature is removed in response, and more efficient options usually exist; for example, **Hammerhand** (also 1 mana) gives +1/+1 and prevents a blocker from blocking that turn, **Madcap Skills** provides a much stronger evasion boost, and non-Aura haste enablers like **Fervor** or creatures that naturally have haste (e.g., **Monastery Swiftspear**) are typically more reliable. Combat tricks like **Lightning Bolt** or **Play with Fire** are also often better for pushing damage or winning combat without risking a 2‑for‑1.
