About Traitor's Roar
Traitor's Roar, Sorcery, designed by Jim Pavelec first released in May, 2008 in the set Shadowmoor. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of $ 0.35.
Traitor's Roar fits well in a creature-heavy deck that can quickly generate multiple creatures for the Conspire ability, making it a versatile and powerful removal option. While there may be more efficient single-target removal spells, Traitor's Roar's potential for double the effect on multiple targets can make it a strong inclusion in aggressive decks looking to pressure opponents. Its inclusion should be considered based on the deck's strategy and reliance on creature-based synergies.
Rules
05/01/08
If you use conspire to copy Traitor’s Roar, but you don’t change its target, the copy will resolve just fine but the original doesn’t resolve. That’s because the copy will resolve first, and as part of its resolution, it will tap the targeted creature. Then, when the original Traitor’s Roar tries to resolve, it will have an illegal target (since it must target an untapped creature).
