This Vrock card would benefit a deck that focuses on sacrificing or recurring permanents to trigger its Toxic Spores ability consistently, such as a sacrifice-based or graveyard recursion deck in Magic: The Gathering. While Vrock can be a powerful addition to such a strategy, there are potentially better cards like Kokusho, the Evening Star or Gray Merchant of Asphodel that offer more immediate impact or value upon entering or leaving the battlefield.
