While Lobotomy can be effective in certain situations, there are better options available such as Surgical Extraction or Extirpate, which offer more immediate and versatile graveyard hate. Lobotomy could see play in a sideboard against combo decks or specific strategies, but may not be a maindeck staple due to its situational nature.
