Diabolic Tutor is een veelzijdige kaart die nuttig kan zijn in verschillende decks, vooral in controle- of combo-decks die op zoek zijn naar specifieke sleutelkaarten om het spel te winnen. Hoewel het een solide optie is om elke kaart uit je bibliotheek te begeleiden, zijn er efficiëntere opties beschikbaar, zoals Demonic Tutor, dat één mana minder kost en je je bibliotheek niet hoeft te schudden.
