Shark Typhoon is een veelzijdige kaart die goed past in controle- of tempodecks in Magic: the Gathering. Het biedt een constante stroom vliegende Shark-tokens die schalen met de manawaarde van niet-wezensspreuken, waardoor het een sterke afmaker is. Hoewel er misschien betere opties zijn voor specifieke strategieën, maken de flexibiliteit en het fietsvermogen van Shark Typhoon het een solide keuze voor decks die op zoek zijn naar een mix van kaartvoordeel en aanwezigheid op het bord.
