Over Temporal Extortion
Temporal Extortion, Sorcery, ontworpen door Steven Belledin voor het eerst uitgebracht in februari 2007 in de set Planar Chaos and was printed exactly in 2 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of € 19,85.
A deck that focuses on controlling the game and stalling for time would benefit from using Temporal Extortion, as it provides an extra turn to further establish board presence or set up a game-winning play. However, there are better extra turn cards in Magic: the Gathering, such as Time Warp or Nexus of Fate, which offer the extra turn without the risk of being countered by paying life. Overall, Temporal Extortion could see play in specific strategies that can capitalize on the extra turn effect while mitigating the potential downside of its counterability.
Regels
01/02/2007
As the triggered ability resolves, the active player gets the option to perform the action. If that player declines, the next player in turn order gets the option. As soon as any player performs the action, the spell is countered, but the remaining players still get the option. If all players decline, the spell remains on the stack.
01/02/2007
When this spell is cast, its “when you cast” ability triggers and goes on the stack on top of it.
