Crossroads Watcher (a 3-mana green creature with trample that gets +1/+0 whenever another creature enters under your control) fits best in aggressive or go-wide green decks that can consistently play multiple creatures in a turn, such as token decks, Selesnya (green-white) swarm strategies, or low-curve stompy builds in Limited or casual formats. It benefits especially from token generators and cheap creatures that trigger its pump repeatedly, turning it into a sizable trampling threat during explosive turns. However, in most competitive formats there are stronger options—cards like Steel Leaf Champion (more efficient raw stats), Old-Growth Troll (better resilience and value), or cards that scale permanently such as Luminarch Aspirant or Conclave Mentor in +1/+1 counter shells tend to provide more lasting impact.
