Mockingbird, Ace Agent would fit best in a white-based Heroic or “target-matters” aggro deck—similar to Heroic strategies from Theros or modern Boros/Selesnya pump shells—where you run cheap protection and pump spells like *Gods Willing*, *Defiant Strike*, or similar effects to both trigger its counter ability and push damage; double strike makes +1/+1 counters scale extremely well, turning each trigger into a significant damage boost. However, at 4 mana for a creature that does nothing immediately without follow-up spells, it competes with stronger, more efficient options like *Fabled Hero* (which has Heroic and double strike for 3 mana), *Illuminator Virtuoso*, or even *Adeline, Resplendent Cathar* in white aggressive shells, all of which provide more immediate board impact or better stats for cost.
