Dig Through Time, Instant, designed by Ryan Yee first released in Sep, 2014 in the set Khans of Tarkir Promos and was printed exactly in 13 different ways. It see play in 2 formats: Commander and Casual. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of $ 0.18.
A control or combo deck that aims to dig for specific answers or combo pieces would benefit from using Dig Through Time. While it is a powerful card advantage engine, some may argue that cards like Treasure Cruise or Fact or Fiction may be better options in certain situations. Dig Through Time should see play in decks that can support its delve cost efficiently and have a need for card selection and advantage.

The rules for delve have changed slightly since it was last in an expansion. Previously, delve reduced the cost to cast a spell. Under the current rules, you exile cards from your graveyard at the same time you pay the spell’s cost. Exiling a card this way is simply another way to pay that cost.

You can’t exile cards to pay for the colored mana requirements of a spell with delve.
