About Griptide

Griptide, Instant, designed by Igor Kieryluk first released in Feb, 2012 in the set Dark Ascension and was printed exactly in 3 different ways. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of $ 0.03.

A Griptide card can be beneficial in a control or tempo deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it allows you to temporarily remove a threatening creature from the battlefield by putting it on top of its owner's library. However, there are better alternatives like Unsummon or Bounce spells that can achieve a similar effect for a lower mana cost, making Griptide less optimal for competitive play unless you specifically need the target to go on top of the library.
