Vision of Love is a good reason to join Writhing Chrysalis, artifacts and Sneaky Snacker on the same list without any splashes!

Now that the format's biggest threat is out of the picture, the cards from Marvel Super Heroeslink outside website get a new chance to prove their potential in Pauper. On the other hand, if the Hawkeye Combo showed anything, it is that we can fit Sneaky Snacker into more archetypes than we expected. Gates lists were already running it before the combo, but other variants like Gruul Hawkeye did the same.

The structure of the Gruul versions showed that there is potential in combining Snacker with Writhing Chrysalis even without the combo, with Vision of Love being the main catalyst for these lists by complementing Demand Answers in effects that interact with artifacts to draw cards and Melded Moxite as an enabler for Snacker.

The Decklist

We only have twelve creatures in the list, but each of them can win the game on its own.

Sneaky Snacker returns to play with a condition that is easy to trigger thanks to the growing number of looting effects in Pauper, establishing the "go wide" line.

On the "go big" plan, we have Writhing Chrysalis, one of Pauper's best creatures, alongside Generous Ent, which guarantees land drops early and has a large enough body to close out the game in a few turns.

The release of Vision of Love complemented Demand Answers as red's version of Deadly Dispute effects, letting us run an artifact base to replicate the famous "Draw 3" for one mana. Both enable Sneaky Snacker, giving us more options in how we use them.

Melded Moxite adds to the looting package for Snacker, can become another threat on board, or serve as fodder for other cards.

With luck, Malevolent Rumble will put Snackers in the graveyard while finding Writhing Chrysalis or Melded Moxite. Its token can be used as Bargain fuel for Torch the Tower or to ramp mana on the same turn or the next.

We try to cover two fronts with our removal. Sneaky Snacker and Sacred Cat are on the rise, so we need interaction that exiles. Torch the Tower is the best option in that category, but it can be swapped for Lightning Bolt if we prefer a more flexible card.

Skred answers any creature as the game goes longer. Essential for dealing with the opponent's Chrysalis, Tolarian Terror, Myr Enforcer, and others.

Sideboard

The full sets of Pyroblast and Troublemaker Ouphe are due to the popularity of archetypes where these cards come in. Affinity requires board interaction that we can find with Malevolent Rumble, and Naya Gates includes cards like Armadillo Cloak and Journey to Nowhere, which we can also answer with Ouphe.

Pyroblast replaces Torch the Tower in interaction against Mono Blue/Dimir Terror or complements it against Faeries and other heavily blue archetypes.

Weather the Storm holds off the game against Madness and Red Rally. If we want a less linear card in this slot, Tamiyo's Safekeeping is a suitable choice against Wildfire and Gardens that also provides a small life gain.

Breath Weapon answers go‑wide strategies like Elves, White Weenie, Faeries, and others. We may lose our Snackers, but the "go big" line remains active after the sweeper.

Faerie Macabre is the best graveyard answer we can find with Malevolent Rumble in this list, since we do not want to include Relic of Progenitus and risk losing our Snackers.
