About Embargo
Embargo, Enchantment, designed by Nelson DeCastro first released in May, 2020 in the set Mercadian Masques. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 14.47.
A control deck focused on stalling opponents or disrupting their board state would benefit from using Embargo in Magic: the Gathering, as it can effectively lock down their nonland permanents while also applying pressure through life loss. While Embargo can be a strong choice in certain matchups, there are arguably better options such as Winter Orb or Stasis for achieving similar disruption effects with more potent results, making Embargo less commonly seen in competitive play.
