Many Magic: The Gathering fans woke up last week to find all 50 cards planned for the March of the Machine: Aftermath set leaked on YouTube. The set was supposed to come only mid-May, and would tie some of the loose ends left after the main story depicted in the March of the Machine set, which centers around a great battle across planes with the fate of the world on the line.

Described as a "micro-set" by sources, this set had around 50 cards total, all of which were showcased in a video by Oldschoolmtg on YouTube, in which he opens up boosters, bundles and boxes which weren't supposed to launch for another month. According to him, the products were sent by accident by his retailer, as he had originally ordered the regular March of the Machine set.
Nonetheless, the damage was done. Most of the set made the rounds from Oldschoolmtg's video to the rest of the internet, including Reddit, Twitter, and any other major forums Magic: The Gathering fans gather to debate the game and its cards. Discussion arose regarding leaks, as it always does when a new leak happens, and it seemed most of the fan base agreed the leaks spoiled much of the fun for this "microset".
Now, Oldschoomtg claims some agents from a private security firm have visited him and his wife, in a new video titled "The Aftermath of the Aftermath ... Everything is Gone!". The agents supposedly claimed they were there to confiscate the "stolen" cards, which prompted Oldschoolmtg to reply they weren't stolen, but rather just a retailer error. But, he went on to fully cooperate with the agents and hand over the unreleased cards. The agents then talked about how he would get his original order of the March of the Machine set, and handed him a card with a Wizards of the Coast representative's contact details.
According to that representative, there was an active investigation regarding the mismatched product sent, so that's why they needed to confiscate the cards: They wanted to figure out what went wrong. Though they agreed with Oldschoolmtg that they were probably not stolen, but just the result of some error in the delivery process, they also stated the importance of clearing things up.
Unfortunately, as this is all unconfirmed, there is no way of actually knowing if this really happened, or if Oldschoolmtg just felt remorseful for his actions as the leaker. So far, there haven't been any official announcements made by WotC, and there probably won't be, at least not until we get closer to the actual release date on May 12th.
